The Lady Warriors complete the sweep of Firelands on Senior Night. The JV held strong and pulled off the 21-18 victory.

The Varsity used a strong 3rd quarter to create distance between themselves and Firelands, and they never looked back. It started with an offensive rebound by Gabby Biggs that led to 2 made free throws, followed by a defensive stop and a 3-pointer by Rachel Coyne–extending the lead to 13. Julia Costas had a steal and a layup to beat the buzzer at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Warriors carried that momentum into the 4th quarter. Lupita Chaqueco knocked down a 3-pointer and Gabby Biggs made a layup to push the lead out to 18 right out of the gate. They maintained their lead for the remainder of the game.

Overall, it was a great team victory as the Lady Warriors celebrated their 4 Seniors: Chloe Logterman, Kate Conway, Anna Giang and Lupita Chaqueco.

Rachel Coyne had 11 PTS and 2 AST. Julia Costas also had 11 PTS to go along with 8 RBD, 6 STL, and a block. Gabby Biggs chipped in 6 PTS and a whopping 17 RBD, and Chloe Logterman added 6 PTS and 6 RBD.

The Lady Warriors are back in action on Wednesday night (2/14). They will host crosstown rival Lutheran West in their last regular season game.
