Zak Broschk has been selected to take over the Fairview Warriors Varsity Baseball program beginning in the Spring of 2020. The Varsity job became open when former head coach, Ryan Barry, stepped down to focus solely on coach Boys Basketball for the Warriors, a task at which he has excelled with a record of 41-9 over two seasons since taking over the program.
Broschk is a middle school science teacher for Fairview Park City Schools and served as the head JV Baseball for the last two seasons under Coach Barry. Prior to coming to Fairview, Broschk coached for 5 years as a Freshman and JV Coach for Amherst Steele High School. Broschk lives in Fairview Park and is involved in coaching youth T-ball for his sons. Zak’s wife, Lisa, also has joined the Fairview coaching ranks this year as an Assistant JV/Varsity Girls Tennis Coach in the Fall.
Among the strong suits that Broschk offers are an excellent rapport with all who he coaches and teaches and a commitment to working with Fairview youth programs to build relationships between the Fairview baseball community and the high school program.
More information on plans for baseball workouts and conditioning will be available in the Fall.
