We have a HUGE week ahead in the world of FHS athletics, with 2 conference championships on the line and a ton of OHSAA postseason competition. We hope to see you out at one (or many) of these events this week as our sports teams look to continue an incredibly successful winter season! Our crowds have been great all year both at home and on the road – keep it up!

Wednesday 
Wrestling Senior Night at 6pm in the HS gym against Columbia, Black River, and Brookside

Girls Basketball at Lutheran West (JV 6/Varsity 7:30). They are currently 16-5 and the winner of this game takes the Patriot Athletic Conference Championship.

Thursday
Freshman Boys Basketball plays St. Ignatius at home at 6pm. They are 15-0 on the year and are nearing a perfect season

Friday
Boys Basketball’s turn to play for a PAC Championship. They’re currently 18-2 and will travel to Clearview. Same as the Girls, this is also a Winner-Take-All game. This would be the Boys first conference championship since 1962.

Our District Qualifying Swimmers will compete in the Cleveland State pool at 3pm on Friday

Saturday
Girls basketball will open postseason play. They host Lincoln West at 1pm a Sectional Semifinal in the HS Gym.

After the girls, Freshman/JV Boys Basketball will take on Elyria Catholic

And to round out all our winter sports – Ian Pfieffer, a Junior Bowler, will compete in the OHSAA District Tournament at Buckeye Lanes on Monday at 12pm
