Warriors News · Presenting: FPAC Sports Collective – Tuesday, April 17 in the High School Cafeteria

As many of you may know, throughout this school year, we have been working diligently with a wide variety of parents, coaches, administration, and other Fairview athletics and activities stakeholders to craft a plan to consolidate our many successful boosters groups into one unified group to support Fairview athletics and activities together as a whole.
After much discussion about the direction of this unified booster group, we are now ready to unveil a complete and thorough set of Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation for the “FPAC Sports Collective.” We were extremely fortunate to have had a good mix of community members with a variety of background experience in both the legal field and in non-profit organizations that was crucial to the creation of these Bylaws and the successful future of the FPAC Collective.
Dr. Wagner and I had a meeting last week with the committees that were charged with the Bylaws and Articles to discuss where we stood and – after a few tweaks were made, T’s were crossed and I’s were dotted – those committees will be ready to present a proposal at our April 17th meeting at 7pm in the High School cafeteria. Our plan is to roll out the official FPAC Sports Collective proposal to the Board of Education at their May meeting with the intent of having the Collective fully operational by this summer.
All are welcomed and encouraged to attend the meeting on Tuesday the 17th. I am extremely excited about the progress that we have made on this as a group and am grateful to all who stepped up to help make this a reality. I believe this is going to be a truly amazing opportunity for all involved and, most importantly will serve the kids, the community and will be something we can all be extremely proud of for years to come.
Hope to see you in the High School Cafeteria on Tuesday 4/17 at 7pm
