Crop comments: Amherst, Ohio’s 12th-ranked Division I team, remains in the top spot for the third straight week after wins over Westlake, Lakewood and Hathaway Brown, while Avon chases the Comets at No. 2. … Fairview and Rocky River each move up one spot, going 2-0 and 4-0 on the week, respectively. Fairview is in first place in the PAC Stripes Division while Rocky River is second behind Holy Name in the GLC. … Westlake falls to No. 5 after losing to Berea-Midpark, while Columbia and Bay swap spots thanks to the Raiders’ two wins this week. … At No. 10, Lorain makes its first appearance in the Crop this season. The Titans have won five-straight games including a 3-1 win over LEL foe Maple Heights on Sept. 19.
